Reaching the World at U.S. Universities and Homes<\/strong><\/p>\n

American Universities are\u00a0host to 900,000 international students each year. In Los Angeles County there are 28,000 studying in\u00a0local colleges. These are the top students from their countries and will be\u00a0influential leaders when they return to\u00a0their homes.<\/p>\n

Kingdom Harvest Network operates to\u00a0serve the student population in colleges\u00a0and universities. It provides programs\u00a0and events to meet the social, physical,\u00a0intellectual, and spiritual needs of students.\u00a0The primary mode of serving students is\u00a0through club meetings on public and\/or\u00a0private college\/university campuses.<\/p>\n

Dinner is usually provide at each meeting. Programs include teaching on\u00a0Christian faith and Biblical principles,\u00a0American holidays and culture, or current\u00a0student interests.<\/p>\n

Trip to Yosemite Valley and home stay in\u00a0American homes with members of a country church<\/em><\/small><\/p>\n

Volunteers also provide English conversation\u00a0instruction to students in group or individual\u00a0settings. Other group and individual meetings\u00a0are offered for leadership training, character,\u00a0and spiritual development.\u00a0Field trips for recreational and social needs to\u00a0local places of interest, recreational spots, or\u00a0special entertainment events are sponsored.\u00a0Kingdom Harvest Network also aims to create\u00a0partnerships with churches and individuals who\u00a0want to give students an exposure to American\u00a0culture and customs. Students are given opportunities to build relationships with Americans through meals in a home or visiting a\u00a0Christian worship service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
